  • The Turkey eVisa cost varies depending on your nationality. It ranges from USD 0 to USD 60.55 excluding service fees.
  • Assuming you meet the eligibility criteria, the processing time for eVisa varies from 1 hour to 24 hours.
  • The Turkey eVisa validity varies depending on your nationality. It’s valid for a maximum of 30 Days or 90 days within the 180 day period.
  • If you are a citizen of approved countries, you will obtain a multiple-entry e-Visa. For full list of eligible countries, please read FAQs.
  • You can apply for e-visa anytime prior to your travel. It is advisable to apply for e-visa at least 48 hours before your departure to avoid hassle and any last minute surprises.
  • You don’t need to travel to Turkey on the visa start date. Every evisa has a validity period. You can travel to Turkey anytime within the validity period.
  • The information present on e-visa should match exactly with what is on the travel document. If the data doesn’t match then you have to re-apply for e-visa with the correct information.
  • You can’t overstay beyond the validity of the e-visa.
  • All foreigners including minors are required to submit separate e-visa application to obtain e-visa.
  • You don’t require a transit visa as long as you don’t leave International transit area in the airport.
  • You cannot apply or extend or amend the e-visa while you are in Turkey. You have to exit Turkey before applying for a new e-visa.

The citizens of few countries are required to travel with Turkish Airlines, Pegasus Airlines, Onur Air and Atlasglobal Airlines only as these airline companies have signed a protocol with the Turkish Foreign Ministry. Around 30 million foreigners visit Turkey each year. 65 percent of them are exempted from visa. In order to attract the remaining 35 percent of the foreigners all over the world, Turkey has launched a new revolutionary online visa application system in 2013 for the citizens of more than 100 countries that enable the issuing of tourist visas within minutes with few conditions. Turkey issued 16,199,968 electronic visas between April 2013 and January 1, 2017. Acceptance rate was 87.79% as 18,452,733 applications were filed in this period.

Holders of passports of 40 countries and territories can obtain e-Visas online for a fee prior to arrival The duration of stay for most of these nationalities is 90 days (30 days for some) within 180 days.

Citizens of some countries and territories are eligible to apply for a single entry e-Visa on which they can stay for up to 30 days only if meeting the some conditions such as:

I’m visiting Turkey on a cruise ship. Do I need eVisa?
According to the Law on Foreigners and International Protection which entered into force on 11th April 2014, those foreigners who arrive at sea ports and intend to visit the seaport city or nearby provinces for touristic purpose are exempt from visa provided that their stay does not exceed seventy two (72) hours. What are the conditions for the validity of the supporting document (visa or residence permit from Schengen, USA, UK, and Ireland)?
1) Certain nationalities can use a valid supporting documents such as visa or residence permit of other countries provided the supporting document is valid by the date you enter Turkey.

2) Previously used or unused single-entry visas of other countries are accepted as long as their validity date covers your entry date to Turkey.

No. You don’t require a transit visa as long as you don’t leave International transit area in the airport.

You may stay in Turkey up to 90 days in every 180 days starting from the first entry date.

1) If the duration of 90-day-stay on your e-Visa expired within 180 days as of your first entry date, you can reapply for an e-Visa 180 days later, starting from the first entry date.

2) If you spent some part of the duration of 90-day-stay on a multiple entry e-Visa within 180 days as of your first entry date and the rest expired after 180 days elapsed as of the first entry date, it is possible to reapply for an e-Visa.
We are a group of travelers. Do we need to apply for e-visa separately for each of them?
Yes, you need to apply for e-visa separately for each of the travelers. You can select appropriate no of travelers and submit the basic details for each of the travelers using this Visa Application Form
Can I apply for e-visa while I’m in Turkey?
No. You have to exit Turkey before applying for a new e-visa.

You must apply at the nearest Provincial Directorate of Migration Management for a residence permit If you wish to stay in Turkey longer than your e-Visa permits.

E-visa is issued primarily for trade and tourism purposes. Application for other types of visas such as work visa, student visa etc. are required to be submitted at Turkish Embassies or Consulates.

If you overstay beyond the expiry date of your e-visa, you might be subjected to pay fines, deported or banned future travel to Turkey for a specific period of time.
How long does a Turkish eVisa take?
Assuming you meet the eligibility criteria, the processing time varies anytime from 1 hour to 24 hours. Depending on how soon you need the e-visa, you can choose any of the service types below:

Will there be any additional charges to my credit card beyond the scope of what has been requested?
No. There won’t be any additional charges to your card other than what you agree to pay as part of the order submission. What you see is what you pay. You will see the total amount you will be charged to process your order before making the payment.
My travel plans have changed. Can I extend or amend my existing Turkey eVisa to a new date?
Unfortunately that’s not possible. You have to apply for a new eVisa again.
There is a mistake in my application. What should I do to have it updated?

Scenario 1:

If we have submitted your visa application to the government for processing, then it is highly unlikely we can make any changes. Few government agencies allow changes, but most don’t. We will work with you closely to help out in the best way possible. In the event the changes can’t be done, you will have to resubmit a new order with the correct information and start the process again.

Scenario 2:

If we haven’t submitted your visa application to the government agency yet, then we can accommodate the changes and submit the visa application with the updated details.

My trip got cancelled. Can I get a refund for the e-visa?
Yes it is possible to cancel visa application with us and we will deal with such requests on a case by case basis.

Case 1:

Order has been received and the visa application has not been submitted to the Government authority yet. We will cancel the order request, process a full refund of the visa fees and the service fees

Case 2:

Order has been received and the visa application has been submitted to the Government authority. We will cancel the order request, process a full refund of the service fee only. Visa fee is fully paid to the Government agency to process your visa application, hence, once the application is submitted to the government the visa fee is non-refundable.

Case 3:

Order has been received, the visa application has been submitted to the Government authority and visa has been rejected. We will cancel the order request, process a full refund of the service fee only. Visa fee is fully paid to the Government agency to process your visa application, hence, once the application is submitted to the government the visa fee is non-refundable.

Case 4:

Order has been received, the visa application has been submitted to the Government authority and visa has been approved. We can’t cancel the request once the visa is approved. No refund is applicable in this case.

Submit Refund Request:

If a refund is applicable, you can submit REFUND REQUEST using this link within 60 days of the service delivery.

If your refund request is approved, it will be processed immediately and you will be notified, and the credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

If you have not received a refund yet, first double-check your bank account to be sure that the money has not been added to your account.

Then, contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

I got my visa but information on the eVisa is incorrect. Can I get a refund?
In any event, if the information on your eVisa is incorrect then you have to apply for a new eVisa. If the mistake was from our end then we will reapply for a new eVisa on your behalf at no additional cost. If the incorrect information was provided by you then unfortunately no refund is available.
